Admitted Families

Congratulations on your Admission to The Baldwin School!

Welcome to the Baldwin community! We are confident that Baldwin will become your home away from home, and are thrilled to show you what it means to be a Baldwin Bear. Over the next several months, we invite you to further engage with our students, faculty, parents and alumnae who are eager to share their stories and showcase what makes Baldwin special. Check this page regularly as we will continue to update it with upcoming event opportunities. • We're wishing our Class of 2025 the best of luck as they embark on their externships this week! For the next three weeks, our seniors will be learning with a variety of organizations including Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Villanova University, The Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas - Criminal Division, Urban Outfitters, Providence Animal Shelter, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Grammy Museum, to name just a few! They will return to campus in June to present and tell us all about their experiences!

  • Exploring Rare Diseases with Penn Medicine Experts: Grade 8 students wrapped up their genetics module with a special presentation from Baldwin parent Dr. Amna N. Khan (P ’29) and Dr. Mona Al Mukaddam of the Perelman School of Medicine at UPenn. The doctors spoke about rare genetic bone diseases, including Osteogenesis Imperfecta, X-linked Hypophosphatemia, and Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. Dr. Al Mukaddam, Director of the Penn Bone Center, joined via Zoom to share her research on FOP, while Dr. Khan, Co-Director, discussed how genetics affects bone health. Thank you to both doctors for inspiring our girls!
