Baldwin students had great results at area science fairs in recent weeks. The following students competed at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) Region 1B fair:
Gurnoor Othie ’25, "Effects of Tetracycline Resistance on Plant Growth," earning 1st place and qualifying for the PJAS state fair;
Claudia Kim '25, "Changes of Saliva pH with Different Beverages," earning 2nd place;
Shifa Sayeed ’25, "Correlation of Caffeine on Plant Growth," earning 2nd place;
Amelia Tang ’25, "The Effect of Different Water Temperatures on Plant Growth," earning 2nd place;
Angelica Tang ’26, "The Effect of Water Quality on Plant Growth and Health", earning 2nd place;
Anna Ko ’27, "The Effect of Social Isolation on Stress," earning 2nd place.
Sophie Kalish-Schur ’27, “Cyliboid in the Real World,” competed at the Montgomery County Science Research Competition, earning 1st place and qualifying for the Delaware Valley Science Fair.
