Megan Cooper ’21 Completes Special Forces Underwater Course

Megan Cooper ’21, a senior at the United States Military Academy at West Point, recently completed the Special Forces Underwater Course: Combat Dive Qualification Course (CDQC), culminating in the attainment of her Combat Dive Badge.

As one of only three female Army Combat Divers, Megan stands as one of the first female graduates from the course at West Point. Notably, the military extended access to Special Forces for women in 2013, with only three women in the Army having graduated from the course over the last 12 years.

The Special Operations CDQC, also known as Dive School or SCUBA School, is one of the hardest and most respected schools in the global Special Operations community.
